Beyond his perplexing Twitter ramblings, Kanye West has showed us a few things about how the world works — like that the right musician can move sneakers as much as an athlete.
Now Rihanna, the R&B bae and Puma creative director, is taking that a very fashionable step forward.
As reported by Marc Bain on Quartz, Puma's sales grew 17% last quarter to $974.8 million.
Puma says that Rihanna, who took the creative director title in 2014, makes perfect sense for a brand that's trying to be the connection from "the gym to the runway" for women.
Rihanna's new line is called FENTYxPUMA (taken from her last name) and it looks pretty rad.
