On February 15, Josh Holz uploaded a video compilation of his friend Daniel Lara to Twitter ... and meme history was made.
In the video, Holz trails his friend with a camera, hilariously shouting "damn, Daniel!" in every take. It has since been retweeted over 200,000 times; people just can't get enough of Daniel and his cheering videographer.
"Back at it again with the white Vans," Holz shouts at his friend, referencing Daniel's Vans brand sneakers, which are now famous.
Take a look.

Starting on February 19, just four days after Holz first shared the video, nearly every review (and there are well over a dozen) includes a reference the teen meme.
According to Amazon, the unisex canvas sneakers are "simple, stylish, and effective" and feature Vans' signature "waffle rubber soles."
Check out a few more of the glowing reviews.
To be fair, Daniel's sneakers of choice aren't perfect, as noted by this Amazon review.
"The product was as expected comfy ... but yet still felt like it's missing something," one commenter wrote. "Perhaps if they came with a 'hype-man.'"
If you're hoping to style your feet like Daniel, good luck. I tried to order a pair in white in a women's size nine and a half (men's size eight), but the shoes were totally sold out. Amazon did have them in a half size larger, priced at $45. A bargain when you consider this might be the biggest internet fashion trend since "the dress."
Of course, you can always buy them directly from the Vans website. It looks like Daniel's fans have left their mark there too.
