Following the death of Michelle McNamara, the wife of comedian Patton Oswalt, social media has been flooded with condolences for the funnyman.
Though Oswalt has been mostly quiet since his loss, on Sunday he did tweet out the touching words his and McNamara’s seven-year-old daughter Alice said about her mother.
"When your mom dies you're the best memory of her. Everything you do is a memory of her." -- Alice Oswalt, 7
— Patton Oswalt (@pattonoswalt) May 1, 2016
That's a powerful way of looking at death and how to move on, especially from such a young mind.
McNamara, a true crime writer, died in her sleep on April 21 at the age of 46. Oswalt’s publicist told People that her death “was a complete shock to her family and friends, who loved her dearly.”
No cause of death has been given.
