Hidden deep within a Japanese school is an ever-changing blackboard with just one constant–it’s always covered in art.
Twitter user and artist ‘hamacream’ started drawing playful illustrations on his school blackboard at the request of his student as a graduation gift. That first chalk drawing led to subsequent creations, each more elaborate than the last. His latest work, featuring a still from a hotly anticipated Japanese anime titled Your Name, was the trigger that finally propelled his ongoing work into the public eye.
Take a look through some of his stunningly intricate drawings below and follow the artist on Twitter at ‘hamacream’ for real-time updates–fair warning though: all his tweets are in Japanese.
