The INSIDER Summary:
• Turn to these words when you feel low on hope and encouragement.
• Go out and find something that proves how beautiful the world can be.
I'm not going to talk about it here, because you don't want to hear about it; this election night has been nothing short of a nightmare, and you are feeling a number of things right now that I won't bother to describe to you, because you'll feel them just same. What I can offer you are some quotes to lift you up right now in the aftermath of this night. And I know — I know it does not seem like anything is going to make this better right now. It's too real. It's too fresh. And I doubt any of us are going to be sleeping that well tonight.
But here's the thing: you will not be enduring whatever happens tonight alone. There are people in this country who allowed for these circumstances to happen, but there are just as many good people in this country who tried to fight against it. There is good in the world — there always has been, and there always will be, even when it feels hard to find. And while you may not be able to find words to comfort yourself right now, you can at least try to take comfort in these quotes. It won't fix what just happened, but it might just help you get through whatever happens next.
