Here's the stunning, $75,000 dress Meghan Markle wore in her official engagement photos

On Thursday, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released their official engagement photos, and the pictures are absolutely stunning. 

The couple was dressed impeccably for the shoot. While Harry wore a classic navy suit, Markle went for an absolutely stunning gown that has a partially sheer top and a full tulle skirt.

While the dress is sure to be an instant classic, it doesn't seem to be for sale at most retailers. The gown, which reportedly costs $75,000 (£56,000 GBP), was part of haute couture house Ralph & Russo's 2016 fall/winter collection. 

For the most part, people are loving her high fashion outfit.

But others are concerned that it's too modern.

In another photo, Markle wore a $920 white cashmere sweater from Victoria Beckham's line, which has already sold out on Nordstrom's website, likely thanks to the "Markle Effect."

The couple rounded out their photo shoot, which was held at Frogmore House in Windsor, UK, with a "candid" shot.

When compared to the more modest outfit Kate Middleton wore for her engagement photo shoot in 2010, it's clear to see that Markle is already starting to shake things up when it comes to royal fashion.
