Evan Rachel Wood

Actress Evan Rachel Wood is not happy, to say the least, with the MPAA over a recent decision to remove a sex scene from her upcoming movie "Charlie Countryman."

"The indie film, co-starring Shia LaBeouf, featured a graphic scene that had a female receiving oral sex from a man,"reports Variety. "But director Frederik Bond was forced to remove the scene in order to obtain an R rating from the Motion Picture Alliance of America."

The actress took to Twitter to explain how she feels about that (hint: not good!).

Warning: colorful language. Read from the bottom up:

Evan Rachel Wood Tweets

"This isn’t the first time oral sex between a man and woman has led to controversy with the MPAA. Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams’ drama 'Blue Valentine' received an NC-17 rating back in 2010," notes Variety, adding that "the ruling was overturned without any changes being made to the the Weinstein Company movie."

Paul Walker Jason Biggs

If you've ever read "American Pie" star Jason Biggs' Twitter feed, you know he's not afraid of a little crass humor.

But even he thought Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf café in Los Angeles crossed the line by displaying two tip jars on the check out counter labeled "Fast and Furious" and "Varsity Blues"  two of his late friend Paul Walker's most popular movies.

Biggs, who co-starred with Walker in "Eight Below," called out the coffee chain by tweeting:

Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has since responded with a statement:

“This is completely inconsistent with our brand values and the jars have since been removed. Our thoughts and condolences remain with the many friends and family of Paul Walker during this difficult time. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf would like to thank Jason Biggs for bringing this matter to our attention.”

Handling Walker's death with a bit more compassion is Universal, as the studio announced that it will donate a percentage of the proceeds from the upcoming "Fast & Furious 6" DVD, Blu-Ray and digital releases to Walker’s charity, Reach Out Worldwide.

Ben Affleck spoke with Playboy Magazine for the start of its 60th anniversary celebration and dished about past regrets and playing Batman and past regrets.

Clearly a lot of fans were upset when the "Argo" actor was announced to take over the Bat mantle from Christian Bale in the "Batman / Superman" movie because of his past performance in 2003's "Daredevil."

Well, Affleck hears you loud and clear. He finally admits he wasn't happy with the Marvel movie either.

Movie and pop culture site Latino Review got their hands on an early copy of the lengthy interview before the magazine hit store shelves where Affleck describes how the superhero film was his biggest career mistake and how playing the Caped Crusader may be one way of making up for the movie.

"The only movie I actually regret is Daredevil. It just kills me. I love that story, that character, and the fact that it got f----- up the way it did stays with me. Maybe that’s part of the motivation to do Batman."

And to all the Batfleck haters, Affleck defended himself in Batman's shoes:

"If I thought the result would be another Daredevil, I’d be out there picketing myself. [laughs] Why would I make the movie if I didn’t think it was going to be good and that I can be good in it?"

The Batman / Superman movie comes to theaters July 17, 2015.

Ben Affleck Slams 'Wrong And Disgusting' Paparazzi In New Playboy Interview

Ben Affleck camera

Ben Affleck is peeved at the paparazzi.

In a new Playboy interview, the 41-year-old father of three explains to the magazine what he calls “the crucible by flashbulb.”

“You can say what you want about me. You can yell at me with a video camera and be TMZ. You can follow me around and take pictures all you want. I don’t care. There are a couple of guys outside right now. Terrific. That’s part of the deal,” says Affleck.

But when it comes to his family and young children, the future Batman is fiercely protective.

“It’s wrong and disgusting to follow children around and take their picture and sell it for money,” he says. “It makes the kids less safe. They used to take pictures of our children coming out of preschool, and so this stalker who had threatened to kill me, my wife and our kids showed up at the school and got arrested. I mean, there are real practical dangers to this.”

Affleck continues, “My kids aren’t celebrities. They never made that bargain. We were offered a lot of money to sell pictures of our kids when they were born. You’ll notice there aren’t any. I make no judgment about people who decide differently; a lot of them give the money to charity. For me it was a matter of principle. I didn’t want someone to be able to come back and say I was complicit, that it wasn’t a question of principle as much as price.”

And he didn't stop there.

“The tragic thing is, people who see those pictures naturally think it’s sweet," Affleck explains. "They don’t see the gigantic former gang member with a huge lens standing over a four-year-old and screaming to get the kid’s attention.”

“The kids are always looking down because they’re freaked out and scared of these people. And so they yell. Which is fine if you’re Lindsay Lohan coming out of a club, or me or any adult,” adds Affleck. “With kids it’s tasteless at best.”

The issue is clearly something Affleck's family feels strongly about.

In August, his wife, actress Jennifer Garner, testified in defense of stricter laws preventing paparazzi from terrorizing celebrity kids.

Kanye West is in the midst of a worldwide Yeezus concert tour and every night he takes the stage to perform, the rapper says he is endangering his life just like a a policeman or soldier in war.

In a new radio interview with SaturdayNightOnline, the rapper says “I’m just giving of my body on stage ... I’m putting my life at risk. This is like being a police officer or war or something."

After saying his life is like "The Hunger Games" right now, West says of his concert, "I feel like it's not just a performance."

West explains of his potentially dangerous stage design: "That mountain goes really, really high and if I slipped and something happened, I think about my family and I'm like 'This is like being a police officer or war or something.' You're literally going out to do your job everyday knowing that something could happen to you — verbally from the press bashing you, people not liking you anymore, or you could actually slip on that stage."

Right, because that's exactly what cops and soldiers are worried about.

Kanye West Slams Fake Interview That Quoted Him As Saying 'I Am The Next Nelson Mandela'

Kanye West may not be afraid to share his high opinion of himself, but the rapper wants you to know he did not say that "I am the next Nelson Mandela" quote currently circulating after being pulled from a fake interview.

On Friday, satirical newspaper "The Daily Currant" ran a fake interview with Kanye West in which he said ridiculous statements such as: “Mandela was working in South Africa, which has, like what, six people? I started my magic here in the USA and then I took my business global" and “I liberate minds with my music. That’s more important than liberating a few people from apartheid or whatever.”

Many people believed the interview was real and some even called to put Kanye in prison"to make sure" he's the next Mandela.

After Twitter went nuts with people in outrage over the statements, West just cleared up the matter via his Twitter account:

Kanye West tweets nelson mandela

But for those keeping track, West did, in fact, say he is the next Steve Jobs, Walt Disney and God.

Art Basel Miami is an international contemporary art fair held each year in Miami Beach.

But since it began in 2002 as an offshoot of the annual art fair in Basel, Switzerland, Art Basel Miami Beach has become as much about the parties as the art.

This year's fair brought out the likes of Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Paris Hilton, Lenny Kravitz, Steven Tyler, Elle Macpherson, and many more.

While some actually looked at art, most were just there to party — and we have the pictures to prove it.

Zoe Kravitz let her dad, Lenny Kravitz, and Steven Tyler into the DJ booth at the Dom Perignon party hosted by Alex Dellal, Stavros Niarchos, and Vito Schnabel at Wall club in the W Hotel.

Actor Stephen Dorff made an appearance with Derek Blasberg.

Before the club, Alex Rodriguez joined an intimate dinner hosted by Aby Rosen and Samantha Rosen at The Dutch in the W Hotel in South Beach.

Amy Poehler Thinks We're All Too Obsessed With Selfies And 'Capturing The Moment'

Amy Poehler

Amy Poehler may have a Youtube web series "Ask Amy" in which she answers young women's questions on how to survive their teenage years, but that doesn't mean the "Parks and Recreation" star is a fan of social media.

"I'm not a real social-media person. I'm not on Twitter," she tells Paper Magazine in a new interview. "I try not to read too much online because I always get my feelings hurt, even if someone's flattering you."

Poehler went on to give a few funny examples: "Like somebody tweeting, 'Call me crazy, but I think Amy Poehler's attractive.' And you're like, 'OK? Thank you?' Or like someone writing, 'I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that I'd have sex with Amy Poehler.'"

But one particular part of social media that the former "SNL" star takes issue with: selfies.

"The amount of Instagram selfies seems crazy out-of-control. The idea of, 'This is my face and everyone needs to see it all the time,' is so far from the privacy that people used to seek. Now everyone acts the way '80s performance artists used to act. Everybody's Karen Finley. Everybody's like, 'I'm gonna put s--- all over me and take pictures!'"

Poehler recalled the good old days when cameras captured experiences, not became them.

"When I was a kid, you'd go to a party or a punk rock show and you'd have fun, and you'd bring a camera, and you'd take pictures, and those pictures would stay inside the camera. Pictures were an addition to the experience. Now the picture is the experience. If I'm hanging out with a friend, and they take a picture of me, it's like 'Ugh.' I mean, I hate looking at pictures of myself. It immediately takes me out of the experience."

Kim Kardashian Defends Donating Small Amount To Charity By Explaining Funds Breakdown

Kim Kardashian

Kim Kardashian is fighting back against negative press surrounding a recent eBay auction in which she donated just 10% of proceeds to typhoon disaster relief in the Philippines.

After being called "selfish" and "greedy," Kardashian finally broke her silence on her blog Tuesday, explaining the actual breakdown of costs from the auction.

In a post titled “Giving Comes From The Heart,” Kardashian reveals:

In regards to these eBay auctions, when the eBay numbers get broken down, the auction management agency that posts for me gets a percentage for all of their hard work, then eBay listing fees, end of auction fees, eBay Store fees, Paypal fees, etc., all add up to about half of the sale. Then I give 10% to a charity.

Read the reality star's full blog post below (via Celebuzz):

I feel compelled to speak about something that is in my head and my heart. Over the years, I’ve had to grow a thick skin. Being in the public eye, there are times I feel like I get criticized for any and everything I do. I’m used to it now. I just choose not to feed into negativity or become consumed by it.

The problem comes in when I get attacked for giving and trying to help people. My dad always taught me the importance of giving back. I don’t publicize everything I do to help charities and people all over the world. I do it because I want to. I do it because my dad taught me to. I do it because it’s the right thing to do. So for people to attack me for giving 10% of my eBay auction sales to the people of the Philippines, that hurts.

I do eBay auctions monthly and change the charity or church from time to time. I give 10% of all my earnings to charities, not just these eBay auctions. This month it’s for the people of the Philippines, last month was Life Change Community Church.

Truth is how the # is broken down, is neither here nor there. The people of the Philippines need all of our help, no matter how big or small.

Over the last 5+ years, I have listed thousands of items on eBay Giving Works for various causes. I will continue to do what is in my heart and am happy to know many others have enjoyed purchasing from me, as they too are giving with me.

Giving comes from the heart. We all need to be reminded of this as we celebrate the holiday season this year.

Sofia Vergara: 'I Save And Invest' My $30 Million Salary

Sofia Vergara

With a $30 million salary, "Modern Family" star Sofia Vergara was recently named Forbes' highest paid actress on TV for the second year in a row.

But the 41-year-old Colombian beauty didn't get there on her looks alone.

"I think that the concept of being sexy and smart is difficult for many to grasp," Vergara says in the new issue of Glam Belleza Latina. "Most people are more comfortable with the notion of 'sexy bimbo.' And I have to admit that I've capitalized on that to negotiate a couple of times, when the 'smart ones' think I have no idea what I can deliver, and I end up costing them more."

Vergara also boasts big endorsement deals with Diet Pepsi, CoverGirl, Kmart, Comcast, and State Farm insurance.

"I'm not ashamed to say I love making money," the actress admits. "I like business, and the truth is I save way more than I spend. I invest. I plan for the future. I have a special eye for opportunities and work harder than anyone might expect. It is fun to shock people with my business ideas. Most people just see me as [her 'Modern Family' character] Gloria."

Vergara says that her now 21-year-old son motivated her to work hard and make money "because I had a child to support" — even if that meant dying her once blonde hair dark.

"I wasn't getting roles because I didn't look, according to many casting directors and producers, 'Latina enough.' The reality is Latinos come in all colors, heights and flavors, but who was I to preach this stuff when I needed a job?" she says. "My team and I decided to darken my hair to make it more in tune with my accent, and it worked."

Clearly.

Gisele 'Multitasking While Breastfeeding' Selfie Sparks Outrage Among 'Real Moms'

Yesterday, supermodel Gisele Bundchen posted this controversial Instagram selfie:

Gisele breastfeeding glam squad mom

But it's not the fact that Mrs. Tom Brady is openly breastfeeding that has people up in arms (well, mostly not— it's the fact that the supermodel hashtagged the photo "#multitasking" when she is sitting there letting a glam squad do the heavy lifting.

The full caption on the photo read:

"What would I do without this beauty squad after the 15 hours flying and only 3 hours of sleep #multitasking#gettingready"

While some, like actress Emmy Rossum, found the photo funny and spoofed the model's "having it all" image...

Emmy Rossum instagram breastfeeding gisele parody

Most people, especially moms, are not happy.

Denise Albert of TheMoms.com was on "Good Morning America" this morning and called the shot "obnoxious" and "outrageous."

"Today" show correspondent and mother of two, Natalie Morales, argued on this morning's show: "That's not multitasking! She's being multitasked upon."

"Today" Moms editor Rebecca Dube mocked the photo on the show's website. Be sure to read the caption:

Today show mom

Today.com gathered some of the best Facebook comments after posting Gisele's photo to the Kathie Lee and Hoda page (via Today.com):

Erika Douglass: Today, I nursed my 8-month-old while pushing a shopping cart... I was grocery shopping and later, did it again while I finished Christmas shopping for the family! Oh, I was also drinking an iced coffee at the same time lol

Lindsey Renick: My multitasking usually includes dressing myself and two kids, making two breakfasts and lunches, cleaning up dropped clothes and dishes, brushing out hair while I struggle shoes and coats onto kids ... Can we trade !?!

Alison Hughey Clifford: This is so hilarious! Real multitasking is breast-feeding while breaking up a fight between the older two and pouring cereal at the same time. Then change a diaper while pulling an old fruit snack out of your bra. To each their own.

Jessica Sobolewski: Even the baby is working harder in this picture than her!!!! Love you Giselle, but this is not multitasking, babe.

To be fair, many moms defended Gisele as well. Here are some of their comments:

Emily Borne: I think it a beautiful picture. She is Breastfeeding while doing her job. She gets paid to look beautiful and she does it perfectly.

Teri Hoben: Dude Leave her alone. She's taking care of her daughter while working. Great positive image.

Amber Kaiser: The issue here is that motherhood is a thankless job. We don't get the recognition, praise or kudos we deserve for being super in our everyday lives. Perhaps for her, this is multitasking, and in her world it may be difficult to do so. It's all relative. She's taking care of her child and as mothers no one can fault her for that.

But Gisele has never been one to be shy about her opinions on breastfeeding.

"Some people here (in the U.S.) think they don't have to breastfeed, and I think 'Are you going to give chemical food to your child when they are so little?'" she told Harper's Bazaar UK in 2010 after having her son, Benjamin. "I think there should be a worldwide law, in my opinion, that mothers should breastfeed their babies for six months."

The comments created controversy, considering not all women are physically able to breastfeed and about half of new moms stop breast feeding shortly after their baby is born due to a number of circumstances.

What do a "Glee" star, "Fast and Furious" actor, and One Direction boy bander have in common?

They were all the subject of the top three entertainment tweets of 2013.

Sadly, two of three had to do with the deaths of two actors taken too soon. The third was about the end of a young star's teenage years.

Twitter compiled the three most retweeted tweets of 2013 — something they call "Golden Tweets." See who was the most talked-about on Twitter below:

1. Lea Michele's first public acknowledgment of the death of her "Glee" co-star and boyfriend Cory Monteith was the most-retweeted Tweet of the year. The tweet, which had an accompanying photo of the pair, was retweeted more than 408,000 times from 133 countries.

2. Paul Walker’s team tweeted a statement confirming the actor’s passing. It was retweeted 400,367 times as fans from around the world came together in mourning.

3. This Niall Horan tweet is sad in a different way than the above two. The One Direction band member's tweet was retweeted more than 408,000 times from 133 countries. We're not sad that Niall is ending his age of innocence, but because so many people cared so much.
