Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence may be a two-time Oscar nominee with a good shot at this year's Best Actress statue for her role in "Silver Linings Playbook," but deep down the Kentucky native is just a 22-year-old tomboy.

While her fellow Oscar nominees such as Jessica Chastain or Naomi Watts rarely say a word out of turn, Lawrence has been brutally honest when speaking with press.

From TV interviews to magazine Q&A's, E! Online has put together a list of Lawrence's best sound bites. Check out a few of our favorites below:

  • "As soon as somebody farts around me, I think it's hilarious. This is something my brothers did that now the boys at work are obsessed with. You cup it, and then you throw it in someone's face and say, ‘Take a bite out of that cheeseburger!'"On being one of the boys, to Entertainment Weekly
  • "Backstage, I just peed like every three seconds. I think your staff thinks I have diarrhea."—On being nervous before talk show, to "Chelsea Lately."
  • "I should say it wasn't real, for PETA. But screw PETA." —Defending the scene in "Winter's Bone" where she skins a squirrel, to Rolling Stone.
  • "If I don't have anything to do all day, I might not even put my pants on.On what she does during her free time, to Glamour.
  • "Don't go see the movies, I'm a troll. I think the movie was great, but their biggest mistake was me." —On watching herself in "The Hunger Games," on "The Late Show with David Letterman."
  • "In Hollywood, I'm obese. I'm considered a fat actress."On her weight, to Elle
  • "I just went to the doctor today, I got a chest X-ray of my lungs and discovered that my breasts are uneven." Discussing a recent revelation about her body, on "Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
  • "Not to sound rude, but [acting] is stupid." On how she keeps a level head, to Vanity Fair.

Elin Nordegren with Tiger Woods

The National Enquirer recently made the crazy claim that Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren were back together.

The story was dismissed by the media.

But the publication has been right about Woods' personal life before. The National Enquirer was the first to report Woods' extramarital affairs back in 2009.

The company's been credible with other big stories, too.

From high-profile love children to shocking divorces, check out National Enquirer stories that actually turned out to be true.

1994: O.J. Simpson's Bruno Magli shoes.

When Simpson's ex-wife Nicole Brown was murdered along with her friend Ron Goldman in 1994, footprints from Bruno Magli brand shoes were found at the scene.

Simpson denied owning that brand, but the National Enquirer published photos of him wearing the shoes.

2001: Jesse Jackson's love child.

In 2001, the National Enquirer reported that long-married activist Jesse Jackson had an affair and fathered a child.

Before the issue went to stands, word got out and Jackson issued a statement confirming the story.

2003: Rush Limbaugh's painkiller addiction.

In 2003, the Enquirer alleged that conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh was addicted to painkillers, although he had previously decried drug use on his show.

Soon, he admitted to his audience that the reports were true and entered treatment.

This Hollywood Exec Left A Million-Dollar Salary To Help Kids In Cambodia's Slums

Scott Neeson

In 2002, Scott Neeson was the President of 20th Century Fox International overseeing films like "Titanic" and "X-Men."

The Scottish-born executive had a million-dollar salary, a yacht, a Porsche, and lived in Los Angeles' ritzy Brentwood neighborhood.

But in 2003, everything changed when Neeson went to visit Cambodia's Steung Meanchey garbage dump and saw children playing with syringes and broken glass.

"How could anyone survive here?" Neeson recalls to People magazine. "I couldn't look away."

During a second trip to Cambodia, Neeson was trying to help sick children near the dump when he received a call from an agent whose A-list client was "having a meltdown before boarding his private jet because it wasn't properly stocked with his favorite amenities."

It was a wake up call to Neeson, who tells People, "The kids I was with were very sick and here's this movie star yelling. If I needed a sign, that was it."

Scott Neeson Quincy JonesSo Neeson left his high-paying Hollywood job and started a nonprofit called Cambodian Children's Fund.

"Since 2004, Neeson's charity has helped house, educate and provide health care for more than 1,450 children in the country's most desperate slums," according to People.

Now 53-years-old, Neeson has lived in Cambodia for the past ten years, where he says his one luxury is an espresso machine.

"I guess I identify with [the kids] never believing they could do anything with their lives," says Neeson, who gew up in a working-class household and dropped out of high school to deliver movie posters to theaters. "They've been through so much, but they're so hugely energetic and joyful. I've got more love in my life than I ever thought existed. My fear is what would have happened to me if I was still living a life all about me."

"I miss a lot of things about Hollywood," Neeson tells the mag, "but I wouldn't change this for the world."

Willow Smith Turned Down The Lead In 'Annie' Because She Just Wants To Be A Kid

willow smith at Annual Easter Egg Roll

It's a "Hard Knock Life" for Willow Smith.

The daughter of megastar Will Smith may only be 12 years old, but the singer and actress has been featured in movies and television shows for the past five years.

She's appeared opposite her dad in "I Am Legend" and most recently made an appearance on Nickelodeon's "True Jackson, VP" in 2010.

The following year, the young star toured with Justin Bieber performing her 2010 hit "Whip My Hair" and has been set to star in Sony's re-imagining of Broadway play Annie"since early 2011

So last week, when Sony announced Jay-Z and father Will Smith were officially signed on to produce the remake, it was a surprise when Willow was no longer attached because she's simply "too old."

However, father Will tells a different story.

When Smith recently spoke at Temple University in Philadelphia, he revealed that tour didn't go over so well with his daughter. As a result, she decided to step down from her role in "Annie."

"Willow was supposed to be doing Annie, we got Jay-Z to do the movie, got the studio to come in and Willow had such a difficult time on tour with Whip My Hair and she said, 'You know Daddy, I don't think so,' and I said, 'Baby, hold up!' I said, 'No, no, no, listen, you'll be in New York with all of your friends and Beyoncé will be there. You will be singing and dancing,' and she looked at me and said, 'Daddy, I have a better idea, how about I just be 12."

Recently, Willow Smith has undergone a massive overhaul in look and style, shaving her head and stepping out in LA in all black garb.

She was expected to release a self-titled album last April entitled "Willow," (later reworked to "Knees and Elbows") but nothing ever came of that. Instead, she released three more singles including "21st Century Girl" and "Fireball" featuring Nicki Minaj which were poorly received on the Billboard charts.

Her most recent music release, "Sugar and Spice" also showed a shift in tone from 2010's upbeat "Whip My Hair":

"I sat in front of the TV screen
Sad he’s always screaming at me
They wanna puncture me and then wonder why I bleed
The big city everyone is looking for
Step on my ladder and bathe in glory
Inject my soul with darkness
And take my heart and go market it."

Smith added at Temple that his daughter may be taking a break from the limelight for a while.

"I'm really learning through Willow the necessity that we have to snap ourselves back and refocus on the emotional needs of the people that we love. Someone's emotional needs can be very, very different from your dreams and what you think they should be doing and where they are supposed to be."

Her brother Jaden meanwhile will be in full force this year appearing in "After Earth" opposite Will Smith

In 1988, Michael Douglas won an Oscar for playing Gordon Gekko in Oliver Stone's "Wall Street."

On Wednesday, Douglas returned to the New York Stock Exchange to ring the closing bell and deliver a speech on behalf of The Windward School, where his children attend.

Michael Douglas "Wall Street"

Douglas kicked off his speech in the Euronext board room by jokingly saying, "It’s so nice to be back at the scene of the crime."

Douglas' speech was in order to elevate the conversation around dyslexia and celebrate the White Plains-based school's expansion to a Manhattan campus.

The Windward School is an independent school for grades first through ninth, tailored for students with language based disabilities – primarily dyslexia.

Not only does one of Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones' children attend the school, but so does Harvey Weinstein's offspring, a source tells Business Insider.

Douglas says he and wife knew the school was a place they wanted to support because the academic program is designed to enable 98 percent of their students to return to mainstream education.

Katy Perry abided by CBS' no-nudity "Wardrobe Advisory" at the Grammy Awards by wearing a mint green Gucci gown that fully covered her body — save for a keyhole cut-out showcasing the singer's ample cleavage, which ended up stealing the show.

And Katy's cleavage had quite the star-studded night.

First, it posed on the red carpet.

Don Johnson Receives $19 Million From 'Nash Bridges' Lawsuit

don johnson at the weinstein company with hollywood reporter

Don Johnson has ended his lawsuit against the company that co-produced his series "Nash Bridges" after it paid him $19 million.

In 2010, Rysher Productions was ordered to pay Johnson $23 million in profits for the show and interest. Rysher was also ordered to pay an additional $28.5 million in interest.

But Rysher appealed, alleging jury misconduct and that the amount of interest to which Johnson was entitled was calculated incorrectly. Jurors had initially decided to award Johnson $15 million before deciding, through their calculations, that he was entitled to far more.

Last year, the California Court of Appeal agreed with Rysher, saying Johnson should receive just $15 million, plus interest as of July 2010, when the verdict was handed down. The larger dollar amount factored in interest that would have started accruing years before the verdict.

In January, Rysher paid Johnson $19 million, and he signed a document bringing the dispute to a close. The court records disclosing the payment were first discovered by The Hollywood Reporter.

"Nash Bridges" aired on CBS from 1996 to 2001.
